Church of Santa Marta - Sant'Angelo di Brolo

The year 1630 shown on the bell of the dome of the church of Santa Marta is the only time reference on the construction of the place of worship which, according to the testimonies of some elderly residents, was made in three parts. Inside you can admire an 18th century painting depicting the Saint. From 1978 until 1995 the church was closed for worship. Since 1995 it has been reopened on the occasion of the main religious holidays. On the occasion of the commemoration of the death of Santa Marta, on 29 July, a festival takes place with great popular participation.
