From the passion for art and ceramics of Tina Sidoti, it was born in Gioiosa Marea La Rosa dei Venti , a souvenir and artistic ceramics shop housed inside the magnificent Palazzo Forzano, built between the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. From the teste di moro to the centerpieces, from the ceramic pine cones to the plates, to the lamps, all the ceramics are hand painted by the master potters of Caltagirone and Santo Stefano di Camastra.

Tina Sidoti, a young woman from Gioiosa Marea, for years worked in a tourist village of this well-known Sicilian tourist destination facing the Aeolian Islands and she was appreciated by many people not only for her innate kindness, but also her great passion for art and artistic ceramics.
In 2014, when Tina lost her job, she decided to turn this difficulty into an opportunity and to cultivate her passion: so she opened a small Sicilian artistic ceramics shop. La Rosa dei Venti has a small shop in the center of the town, at the entrance to the Canapè just where, some years ago, another one stood, very well known and appreciated by tourists who come on holiday to these areas every year.
Inside La Rosa dei Venti you can find the best pieces of Sicilian ceramics: amphorae, teste di moro, decorated lava stone tables, plates, majolica and many other modeled and hand-painted objects that tell Sicily, its art and his passions.
Tina personally selects each piece to display and sell in her shop, choosing from the best ceramics from Caltagirone and Santo Stefano di Camastra, to offer tourists and visitors a wide choice able to meet the different artistic tastes.
Six years after opening, Tina is satisfied with the choice made because, as she says, “there is nothing more beautiful than loving your job and transmitting passion for all the beauty around you every day”.
