Monumental Statue of San Lorenzo - Frazzanò

This place, which dominates the small center of Frazzanò from above and which once housed the ancient castle of Belmonte, is a splendid panoramic point from which it is possible to admire the entire valley of the Fitalia stream with all the surrounding villages. Here, in the early 2000s, a monumental stone sculpture depicting the beloved patron saint Lorenzo was erected by the will of the Frazzanesi. The statue, made according to the iconography of the painting kept in the church dedicated to him, sees the figure of the saint in a blessing act, as if to underline a gesture of protection and benevolence towards the town.
