Capo mill

Just outside the inhabited center of Montagnareale, there is a splendid water mill called Mulino di Capo. The structure is fully functional and it is very interesting to visit the rooms and learn about the operation of the technical equipment of the mill and its millstones as well as its horizontal wheel which, fed by the stream, starts the grain crushing mechanism.
