‘U Sciuscialoru

In the countryside surrounding the village of Capri Leone, among green olive groves and Mediterranean scrub, there is a real natural surprise unknown to most: it is a phenomenon of karst origin that is commonly and affectionately called by the inhabitants sciuscialoru. This place is nothing more than a peaceful clearing delimited by a rocky slope from which, from a crack, it is possible to feel the passage of an underground river in the distance which, due to the strong pressure of its spring waters, gives off an intoxicating fresh perennial wind .
