Church of the Lodges - Ficarra

The church of the lodges represents the first point of interest that the visitor encounters once he arrives in Ficarra. Built in the seventeenth century in memory of the arrival of the effigy of the Madonna Annunziata in 1507, the church is called delle Logge due to the fact that, in ancient times, in its vicinity there was a loggia inside which the market was held during the town festival from 3 to 8 August.
