Museum of sacred art - Gioiosa Marea

The Museum of Sacred Art of Gioiosa Marea was created thanks to a collaboration between the Municipality, the Parish of San Nicolò di Bari and the Diocese of Patti. Inside there are interesting works of sacred art from the city churches, in particular from those of San Nicola and Santa Maria. The artifacts displayed inside the Museum, ascribable to a time span from the 16th to the 20th century, allow the essential parts of the civil, cultural and religious history of the ancient Gioiosa Guardia and the new Gioiosa Marea to be reconstructed.
