Paliscermo Santa Rita

The Paliscermo Santa Rita is the last witness of the extraordinary fishing activity of the ancient tonnara of San Giorgio di Gioiosa Marea. Built in Milazzo in 1933, it is now subject to restrictions by the Superintendency of Cultural Heritage, but is in a state of degradation on the beach.
