The Church of Sant'Anna was built in 1687 at the behest of Duke Gregorio Denti in memory of his wife Anna Colonna Ruffo. The church was the seat of the Congregation of the Virgin Mary of Sorrows for the Agonizzanti since 1759. The church, now deconsecrated and intended for other functions, externally preserves the sandstone portal, surmounted by an inscription and the noble coat of arms of the Denti family. The building fell into disrepair over time but in 1933, at the behest of Marianna Denti, it was converted into a kindergarten. The church was transformed into a recreation room and the house was built for the nuns in the upper part. Today only the main altar of the church remains where two tombstones are kept in memory of the Denti family. The building has been transformed into a multifunctional center dedicated to the memory of Marianna Denti.
