Museum of sugar cane and lemon

The Museum of Ethnostory of Sugar Cane and Lemon is housed in the halls of Castello Bastione. This cultural space was set up by the Archeoclub of Italy, headquarter of Capo d'Orlando, sponsored by the Municipality's Tourism Department. The museum area houses documents, ethnoreperts and photographic images that illustrate stories and mores maiorum of the peasant tradition of Capo d'Orlando. Ample space is reserved for Sicilian crops of sugar cane and lemon also linked to their transformation and processing by means of trappets and activities that for centuries have marked the industrial activity of the city's past.
