Monumental crusher of the sixteenth century

The Dominican quarter of the historic center of Castania is also known for the former oil mill, active up to 50 years ago. Today the monument has been recovered and used as a museum space on olive processing and local oil production. During the spring and summer period the former oil mill becomes a space for art exhibitions, courses on hazelnut and mushrooms and a play center for children.
