Ecological Park - Castell'Umberto

A short distance from the city center of Castell’Umberto, the Ecological Park of Piana Collura is a small oasis of peace where you can immerse yourself in nature and find harmony and well-being. Also known as Pineta di Castell’Umberto, the Ecological Park was created trying to preserve the natural balance of the environmental context without giving up its use. Inside there is a small artificial lake near which you can admire geese, ducks and swans, as well as wild birds that come to winter right on the high oaks of the park. You can still enjoy the view of deer, fallow deer, horses and other animals present in a small wildlife oasis surrounded by the lush nature of the park. The area equipped with tables, barbecue and games for children makes the place particularly suitable for picnics and picnics.
