Church of Jesus and Mary - San Marco d'Alunzio

442/5000 The Church of Gesù e Maria, in San Marco d'Alunzio, dates back to the second half of the 17th century. Built where the Church of Santa Caterina once stood, just below the Castle, in the noble quarter of the town, the Church of Jesus and Mary has a single nave with a bell pediment. You can see a marble portal in the façade with simple lines. The nave is raised above an underlying crypt which today has a separate entrance.
