Fila - Murales by Alberto Ruce - Transhumance Project

The "Fila" mural, one of the seven works of art of the "Transhumance" project by Alberto Ruce and Carla Costanza, depicts an elderly gentleman intent on making a chair through the intertwining of rope threads. The artists wanted to represent the process of abandonment of Sicily by young people forced to emigrate to find work. All this has been highlighted by the artists also thanks to the use of the pictorial technique of transparency as you leave your mark but it is as if you had the feeling that something is disappearing.
