Piazza Aluntina fountain in red San Marco marble

In the central Piazza Aluntina in San Marco d'Alunzio, in the area where, in the past, the Agorà was located, there is a local red marble fountain, built in 1897. The fountain is located at the foot of a staircase, also it in local marble, dominated by the altar of the Madonna del Lume.
