Todaro Palace of Montalbano Elicona

Among the various stages along the streets leading to the Castle, you will also find Todaro Palace. It is an ancient stately home which, today, is home to cultural and recreational-recreational activities and hosts important city events. Thanks to recent restoration works, inside you can admire, among other elements of interest, also beautiful original frescoes. One of the cultural activities hosted inside Palazzo Todaro is the permanent exhibition of medieval clothes and accessories, handcrafted with the technique of experimental archeology. The Medioexpo research group, which has dedicated itself for years to the uses and customs of the Middle Ages, has created educational workshops within the structure where all the techniques used for the reproduction of the artefacts are taught.
